Altar - a table, stand, raised platform used as a point of focus for offerings, meditations and sacred purposes.
Amber - allows the body to heal itself by absorbing and transmuting negative energy into positive energy; acts to purify ones’ body, mind and spirit when worn or carried; emits a sunny and bright soothing energy, which calms the nerves and enlivens the disposition; aids in manifestation of desires into reality; stimulates the intellect and opens the crown chakra; transmutes energy of physical vitality towards activation of unconditional love; helps one to choose and to be chosen.
Archetype - the original pattern or model from which all things of the same kind are copied or on which they are based; a model or first form; prototype - a collectively inherited unconscious idea, pattern of thought, image, etc., universally present in individual psyches.
Bronze - a metal that brings with it a sense of being impenetrable; works as a shielding energy; carries the protective warrior energy.
Carnelian agate - stimulates analytical capabilities and precision; used to produce inspiration from, and connectedness with the spiritual worlds; helps banish sorrow from the emotional structure; a stone of creativity, individuality and courage; can aid memory, including recall of past lives; protection in general and from anger, jealousy and fear; it can help with manifestation of one's desires, and brings good luck; helps stabilize energies in the home; sometimes called the "actor's stone"; associated with the root and sacral chakras.
Chakana - Symbolizes for Inca mythology what is known in other mythologies as the World Tree, Tree of Life and so on. The stepped cross is made up of an equal-armed cross indicating the cardinal points of the compass and a superimposed square. The square represents the other two levels of existence. The three levels of existence are Hana Pacha (the upper world inhabited by the superior gods), Kay Pacha, (the world of our everyday existence) and Ucu or Urin Pacha (the underworld inhabited by spirits of the dead, the ancestors, their overlords and various deities having close contact to the Earth plane). The hole through the centre of the cross is the Axis by means of which the shaman transits the cosmic vault to the other levels. It also represents Cuzco, the center of the Incan empire.
